6w5d= 6 weeks and 5 days.
At this exact point, last pregnancy, I was sadly scheduling my emergency appointment to confirm I had miscarried.
I didn't sleep wonderfully, last night, but I slept enough and I wake having passed a huge (psychological) hurdle.
I have a sore throat and stuffy nose, and that is mildly annoying, but I can handle it. 5 more days until our next ultrasound!
Happy Spring Equinox everyone!
In my garden:
Blooming: hellebores, daffodils, forsythia.
Budding: camillia, quince, cherry
leafing up: tulip
have bloomed: crocus & snowdrop
I saw the first robin a week ago, and thought of my grandfather. He had a "who saw the first robin contest" every year, when I was a child. I miss him.
Spring is arriving, we've had a week of rain, and cool weather, but enough sun to draw things up.
I hope you all have hopeful things happening to you, spring green growy things.

I am so happy you are past this huge psychological burden. Your garden sound lovely. My wildflower seeds have sprouted in our side garden and I can't wait to see the California Poppies, alyssum, and Indian paint flowers. Yeah for Spring!
ReplyDeleteYay! I forgot about the equinox (& first day of spring); thanks for the reminder. I am so happy that you passed your milestone. When is the little sprout's next ultrasound, BTW??
ReplyDeleteLOVE the final line of this post. happy spring to you & the little bean too!
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to be past that stage of worry. I remember the exact dates of both our miscarriages. This is a lovely post about renewal and growth and looking ahead. I love it!
ReplyDeleteSpring is here, as you just reminded me! Hopefully, a good day for a transfer. Thanks for the encouragement on my blog. I appreciate every word!
