First Father's Day

Infertility, just like parenthood, is usually a two person story. I am the one who narrates our journey, but I have a partner in it all.
It took us three years and 2 months to conceive our baby that came home. Through it all, Mr. S was there with me, hoping and praying we'd have our own child. When we found out we were dealing with male factor, he dealt with it well. He had his moments of anger and sadness, but he accepted the changes he needed to make, and did so.
I am so grateful that we had the option of IVF/ICSI to combine our genes and get our baby. A couple of generations ago, we wouldn't have been able to do this.
And now we have arrived, and are celebrating our First Father's Day.
Mr. S is a patient, caring, joyful father. Acorn loves to play with him, watch him do dishes and brush his teeth, grab his beard, and be around him.
Here is my dear Mr. S- changing our girl's diaper, at our pool:

Happy Father's Day!!!
