The nursery

This had been the week of the nursery. We painted on the weekend(and man, a 90 yr old house has some bumpy walls and trim!) and I started the fun part: painting trees on the walls, on Monday. I finished yesterday, and I love it so so much!

Also, in the 'it takes a village' mindset, we had 2 brothers, with both their girlfriends, and one neighbor help, on various days, as well as a friend who came over the summer to help clear(the room was basically a storage area for years) and help plan. I love that I can look around the room and see where each person helped. I hogged the fun job, the tree and leaf painting.
So, here are some pics:

  6. thank you everyone! I forgot to mention we used harmony paint, which is zero V.O.C., which I highly recommend for nursery painting! (from sherm. willms)
