Random Facts Monday

Clio at http://dancingwithgaia.blogspot.com/ tagged me a few days ago. I am finally posting my 7 random factoids.

Rules:1. Link to the person who tagged you.2. Share 7 random and/or weird facts about you.3. Tag 7 random people at the end, and include links to their blogs.

Here it goes:

1. I used to be an archeol.ogist and worked on a gravey.ard site for over a year. and working at said site made me much more conscientious about going to the dentist and flossing(colonial people had horrible teeth)
2. I played the flute for over 10 years and was considered quite good, but haven't picked it up in over 10 yrs.
3. I met my husband three weeks after my dear grandfather passed away. Mr. S and I were long distance for three years.
4. I am allergic to bell peppers- but no other foods.
5. I can't wait to take off my br.a, after a long day, and often leave bras in the living room.
6. The only time I experience real, irrational rage, is when I am woken up in the middle of the night(like 3-4 am), and, unfortunately for Mr. S, I am a light sleeper.
7.If I am intensely reading something(esp. a book) someone can talk directly to me and I won't hear them.

Thanks Clio!

A lot of people have already done this(if I tagged you, and you already did, don't worry) so I will tag less people.

  2. We have a lot in common -
I totally wanted to be an archeologist when I was in Middle School. How very cool that you were one!

Sean and I were long distance for 3.5 yrs.

I also hate my bra and can't wait to take it off at night!

    Too funny. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Thanks for the tag!

That is so cool that you were an archeologist. And funny that your take-away message was to take good care of your teeth!

When I do wear an actual bra, I too can't wait to get it off - yes, they end up in the living room.

Weird about the rage in the middle of the night...good thing you don't have my job! ;-)

  4. Thanks for the tag, and taking off my bra is one of the highlights of my day. And yes, I do leave them around much to the chagrin of my hubby.

  5. Hope- I think it was going to college, not being in orchestra, etc. I keep saying I'll pick it up...

Emily- that is funny, we will definitely have to have tea in person some time!

Evergreen- it is so funny(the anger thing) b/c I am pretty even-tempered, regularly. I would not do well as a m/w! :)

  6. poppy, this was fun!
Like Evergreen said, I'm in awe that by being an archeologist you started to pay more attention to your teeth.
    what a cool story.
I too hate bras, but I don't forget them in the living room. :D
And I also have this total focus when reading. People can ask me something three times and I still don't hear anybody talking to me...

  7. You are even more intriguing that I thought.

I feel I know blogging friends on a strange level of emotional intimacy and then random facts just blow me away.

( I too played the flute and quit. Do not feel guilty. )
