33 weeks, in the garden

Mr.S and I forgot to do a 33 week belly shot yesterday, so I just ran out to the garden and took a few(using our mailbox to hold up the camera!). So, here I am with my wild garden behind me, the yellow flowers are called Maximilian Sunflower, they are a prairie native and get a bit wild, but the blooms are great, esp. this time of year.

The baby movements are more pronounced now. I can feel a foot(or hand?) move across my belly and it is an intense, sliding motion. Very strong. I had my first "I've gone into labor" dream, but by the time I'd arrived at the birth center, no contractions, etc. I guess I am wondering how I'll know.

I told Mr. S that we should start getting everything ready as if the baby were to arrive in 4 weeks. You never know, and now, while I have some energy, is the time to finish things! I am in full on nesting mode, and want to clear things out and organize. This is VERY atypical for me. I'd like to bottle this inclination.

  5. Beautiful picture! That's great you are nesting - it is time to get everything all ready. Even if baby comes on time or late, it will be nice to have all that stuff done while you can get around more easily. Enjoy these last weeks/month and 1/2.
