For Fun

I got this from "pumpkin seeds" blog. I love a list, and I love books, so here goes.

Here's how it works:
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline (or mark in a different color) the books you LOVE - mine are in purple
4) Reprint this list in your blog.

The premise of this exercise is that the National Endowment for the Arts apparently believes that the average American has only read 6 books from the list below.
Chances are that if it is purple, I've read it 2 or more times. I am a rereader, which probably doesn't help me get to these other books.

  1. I've read about half the books too. I will be on the lookout for a good book about IF with no miracle pregnancy. Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you and Mr.Seed are doing okay.

  2. thanks Martha-
I don't mind if the characters get pregnant(I welcome it) just no "oh, we just relaxed and then were pregnant." :)

  3. I loved this post, and posted it on mine too! Although I couldn't figure out how to do color or underline.

I read about 32, which I thought was good for a biology major!

Recently I read "Marley & Me" about the world's worst dog, and while it's not infertilty, she does have a miscarriage, and goes through the obsession of cervical fluid and prescribed se.x. It was funny to hear his dread about getting a call mid-day to come home for "lunch" -- I think we can all relate to that!
